When I was planning my wedding, I found that I didn't really know what I should expect from my vendors. I definitely had experience planning larger events, however, it seemed that when I prefaced any conversation with a potential vendor with, "I am getting married in October..." the rules changed.
That feeling always stuck with me and when we opened the store, I had in the back of my mind to host an evening where brides and grooms could come with their friends and family, have a drink or two, talk to vendors and ask the questions they have been wanting to ask in a more personal setting: What does an event planner do? Why do invitations cost so much? What do photojournalism style wedding pictures look like? With the help of my friends Cara Crowley and Penny Sylvia we are launching our first free event where we are inviting you to stop by and ask all of the burning questions you may have about how to go about planning your upcoming wedding. Even if you are not getting married and just want more information about how to go about planning your next event stop by and say hi!
